Apricot Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

2/3 cup old fashioned oats or instant oats

1 container (5.3-oz.) plain or vanilla yogurt

2/3 cup milk

1 tablespoon brown sugar

0.75-oz. Traina Foods Fruitons Julienne Apricot

toppings of choice: sliced almonds, peeled & segmented tangerine, chia seeds, chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a 16-ounce jar, mug, or sealable container combine oats, yogurt, and milk.

  2. Stir in brown sugar and Fruitons. Seal container with lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

  3. When ready to eat, remove from refrigerator, stir, and enjoy.

Recipe Note:

This recipe can be made with old fashioned oats or instant oats. If you prefer more texture in your overnight oats, using old fashioned oats is recommended.

Regular yogurt and greek yogurt can both be used in their recipe. Regular yogurt makes slightly thinner overnight oats with a more mellow flavor. Greek yogurt make the overnight oats slightly thicker and provides a tangy flavor.
