Sun Dried Tomato Hummus

Ingredients:

1 15-oz. can chickpeas

1/3 cup Traina® Home Grown fruitons® Seasoned Sun Dried Tomatoes

1 teaspoon salt

2 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon tahini

1 tablespoon fresh oregano

2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons water

3 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine chickpeas, salt, and garlic. Process for 15 to 20 seconds. Stop, scrape down the sides of the bowl, and process for another 15 to 20 seconds.

  2. Add tahini, oregano, lemon juice, and water. Process for 20 seconds, then scrape down the sides of the bowl.

  3. Add oil and fruitons® and process to combine. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Serves 6-8.
