2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 small yellow onion, chopped
1/2 red or green bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup Traina® Home Grown Organic Ketchup: Sun Dried Tomato
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
4 toasted hamburger buns
4 slices provolone cheese
Heat a large pan over medium heat. When hot add olive oil, onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Stir occasionally until vegetates become soft, about 6-7 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, stirring often. Reduce heat to low and add ketchup, brown sugar, worcestershire, mustard powder, salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To serve, divide meat mixture evenly among toasted hamburger buns. Top with cheese.
