Elisabeth Watkins is known by many as the Farm Girl Chef from Linden. She is the winner of Food Network’s Chopped Junior and a current freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno. Elisabeth learned to appreciate food growing up on a sixth-generation family farm and acquired culinary skills through 4-H. Currently, she works to reconnect consumers to where their food comes from through appearances on local television, radio and through her blog.
Elisabeth uses her aptitude and love for cooking to reconnect consumers to where their food is grown and how it is produced. Through recipes and cooking demonstrations, Elisabeth shares special insights about the agriculture industry.
She has presented on a TEDx stage, demonstrated as a celebrity chef at BaconFest, Master of Ceremonies at Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival, and National 4-H Council 2019 Youth in Action Healthy Living Pillar Winner.
